Jones, Wolf & Kapasi, LLC ("JWK") argued and obtained from the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey an Order granting final approval of a class action settlement in a 15 U.S.C. 1692 et seq, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”) case premised on a New Jersey debt collection law firm sending consumers a misleading and deceptive information subpoena attempting to collect a debt.
The class action settlement includes monetary relief to the named Plaintiff, the 82 New Jersey class members, as well as attorney fees and costs. JWK Managing Partner Joseph K. Jones was certified as Class Counsel.
